Photo Frame Tips – How to Set Up a Digital Photo Frame
Digital photo frames are a great way to share family photos for all to see without the need to print or frame them. Digital photo frames look like regular photo frames, but instead of having room for a 4-by-6-inch photo they contain an LCD screen and some electronics. Some digital photo frames even come with remote controls to change the picture that is showing or run a slide show of multiple photos.
Instructions
- Power the photo frame. Most photo frames can run off of batteries, but will also include a power cord to plug the unit in to wall power.
- Pick some photos from your computer that you want to display on the digital photo frame.
- Load your photos onto a flash memory card or USB drive.
- Copy photos to the photo frame if possible. Some but not all digital photo frames have internal memory that allow photos to be saved to the photo frame. The ones that don’t will require you to leave the memory card inserted.
- Select your picture or set up a slide show. On the side or bottom of the frame, locate the user controls to pick the photo you want to display or set up a rotating slide show.
